The following dogs are now available for adoption. Please Note: We do have other dogs for re-homing that are not detailed on these pages.

Buster

Buster

Buster is a 3yr old Staff wih lots of energy and loves to play, he is a very loving dog who is good on and off the lead , Buster is with us as his previous owner died and was then neglected by his new owner.

Yanto

Yanto

Yanto is a 12 month old neutered male Jack Russel cross. He is friendly and very exciteable. He is not good with cats and other dogs. A family with teenage children would be suitable for him and further training is required.

Cindy

Cindy

Cindy is a neutered female 3 year old terrier cross. She would prefer to be homed with other dogs as she likes the company Cindy loves a lot of attention. She does not like being left on her own as she barks and becomes destructive. She is a very loving dog and would make a brilliant addition to any family.

Fizz

Fizz

Fizz is a loving 3yrd old Brindle and white Staffordshire Terrier who loves to play and is very good off the lead she is ok with recall could be very good with further training. She is not very good with cats as she likes to chase them Fizz would be best suited to a family with older children as she loves the attention.

Holly

Holly

Holly is a 9 1/2 yrs old loving Collie who is a quiet, shy dog. She has previously lived with cats but is slightly nervous around other dogs. Holly will be best homed with somebody who has no children as she gets frightened of the loud noise. Holly is a lovely dog who would appreciate some peace and quiet for her retirement.

Toby

Toby

Toby is a friendly loving 3yr old cross breed he likes other dogs and is good with children. He is good on the lead but needs training off the lead.

Dylan

Dylan

Dylan is an 11 month old Whippet he is very loving and is good with cats other dogs and children. He does like to chase squirrels and birds. Knows the following commands lay down,leave and heal. Dylan would make a very good family pet.

Important Instructions

Please read the following notes before looking at the dogs:-

  • The Sanctuary cannot rehome to a family where there is a child under 5 or where all the adults are at work all day.
  • If you live in rented accommodation you need your landlord’s written consent to adopt. Please note that Torfaen Council does not permit tenants living in Council flats to adopt.
  • A dog on trial adoption still belongs to the Sanctuary so you must not give the dog to anyone else; if you decide against adoption please return the dog to the Sanctuary.
  • Prices are £110 (including neutering). Due to the current economic climate and lack of funding we have had to revise our adoption prices, we do hope that you understand, thank you.
  • Home visits are required for all adopters. If you have a dog on trial adoption you pay for the dog at the end of the trial period.
  • Rehoming hours are 2pm - 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
