About me
- Can I live with other cats? No - Peggy isn't fond of the other cats in the cattery. She feels quite uneasy in their presence and tends to react aggressively if they come near her cabin. Therefore, she would thrive best as the sole pet in a household.
- Can I live with dogs? No - Because Peggy's background is unknown, she would be best suited for a home without dogs.
- Can I live with teenagers? Yes
- Can I live with young children? Potentially
- Do I have any medical issues? Potentially - Peggy is scheduled for a health check very soon. Stay tuned for updates!
- Can I live as an indoor cat? No - Since Peggy has always been an outdoor cat who enjoys roaming, it would be unfair to confine her to an indoor environment after years of exploring the outdoors. Potential adopters should understand that there will be an adjustment period for cats in a new home. Many people, including Peggy's breeder, have informed us that she loves to wander away from home frequently, but we do not know the circumstances as to why.
Peggy arrived in our care as a “stray.” Local sources informed us that the family who had been looking after her moved out on June 16th. A nearby company, having known Peggy for over a year, noticed she was now alone and took her to a local vet for a microchip scan. Unfortunately, the details linked to the microchip were those of her breeder, who was aware of Peggy’s owner and still had their contact information.
Despite efforts from both the vet and the breeder to reach out to Peggy’s owner, no one has come forward to claim her, and her seven-day hold period has passed. As a result, she is now ready for rehoming under our legal ownership.
Peggy is a sweet, older girl who adores attention, and being a Bengal, she is quite vocal! She has expressed her dislike for cattery life, as she prefers to be away from the other cats in the block.
The ideal home for Peggy would be a pet-free environment where she can receive all the love and attention aimed solely at herself.
