About me
- Can I live with other cats? Potentially - Since we are uncertain about who was instigating the fights, Lois or Trevor, it would be best for Lois to be rehomed as the only cat in the household.
- Can I live with dogs? No
- Can I live with teenagers? Yes
- Can I live with young children? No - 16+
- Do I have any medical issues? Potentially - Lois is scheduled for a dental procedure on October 16th, as her teeth are in quite poor condition. During this appointment, we will also have blood taken to test for anaemia, since her gums appear a bit pale. We are unsure if this is related to her previous issues with soiling in her home & her cabin. We will discuss this with the vets once we receive the results.
- Can I live as an indoor cat? No
Meet Lois Lane!
Lois first joined us back in 2019 and was adopted that same year. Unfortunately, she has now returned to us for rehoming for a second time. Her owner could no longer care for her and their other cat due to ill health, prompting them to reach out and ask us to take Lois back.
Formerly known as Missy in 2019, Lois is an older girl in need of some stability after experiencing significant changes in her life. She previously lived with another cat, Trevor, who is also available for rehoming. Due to reports of fighting in their previous home, Lois and Trevor are currently housed in separate cabins, and it would be best for them to be rehomed individually.
While Lois enjoys a bit of attention, she will clearly communicate when she has had enough. She would thrive in a cat-experienced home without children. Since returning to our cattery, Lois has adapted remarkably well, showing no signs of hiding or fear. She happily eats her food and is not a fussy eater, displaying quite a confident personality!
It’s important to note that Lois has a history of not always using her litter tray and may go to the toilet wherever she prefers but will also use her tray at the same time. Please refer to the medical section for more information.
