About me

  • Can I live with other cats? Yes - Uma has come from a home where she lived with 3 other female cats.
  • Can I live with dogs? No - Uma has previously lived with a dog for a short period of time but they were kept separate due to her being afraid. Therefore, she would best suit a dog free home.
  • Can I live with teenagers? Yes
  • Can I live with young children? Yes - Uma has lived in a home with a 6 year old child. She can be a little nervous of loud noises (who isn't!) & therefore would best suit a home with cat savvy children.
  • Do I have any medical issues? No - Uma has received a full medical check from the vet with no concerns noted. She is due to be spayed on the 26th March 2026. She is currently not vaccinated at this time.
  • Can I live as an indoor cat? Yes - Uma's previous owner informed us that she always stayed indoors, even though she had the option to venture out, she was too afraid too. The other cat in the home, Juno, primarily stayed inside also. In contrast, Etta and Ada would occasionally venture outside. We can accept applications from homes interested in adopting both Etta and Juno for example. We will not approve any rehoming in areas near busy roads or railways. Therefore, as long as Etta and Ada have access to the outdoors while Juno and Uma prefer to stay inside, that arrangement would be acceptable but for those applying for just Juno and/or Uma, they could technically be kept as indoor cats only.
  • What was the reason for my surrender? Uma came to us because her previous owner was escaping domestic violence and had to move. They relocated to a home with a dog, which caused the cats to feel unsettled. The new environment was sadly not suitable for them.

Meet Uma!

Uma is an incredibly sweet cat who is understandably feeling a bit confused after the recent changes in her life. She often finds comfort hiding under her blankets and enjoys relaxing throughout the day. While she hasn’t fully warmed up to us yet, it’s still early days. Uma arrived with three other cats who are also looking for loving homes: Juno, Etta, and Ada. They can be adopted together or separately.
