About me
- Can I live with other dogs? Yes - Fae has come from a household with two other small breed dogs. She has been enjoying regular playdates with a staff member’s spaniel, and the moment he enters the paddock, her confidence noticeably increases. We believe she would greatly benefit from having another dog in the home, although this is not a mandatory requirement for applications.
- Can I live with teenagers? Yes
- Can I live with young children? No - 10+ - Fae has not lived with young children before, and given her initially nervous temperament, she would be better suited to an adult only home or one with older, dog savvy children.
- Do I have any medical issues? Potentially - Fae is scheduled for a vet visit soon. She is not spayed at this time but is up to date on her vaccinations, with her next booster scheduled for the 9th April 2027
- Can I live with cats? Potentially - Fae has never lived with a cat, but given her age, she may be able to adapt to one. Please note that we will only consider applications from homes where the cat has previously lived with a dog without any issues. Visits from dogs do not count.
- Am I good on the lead? Potentially - Currently, Fae's lead walking is still being assessed. In her previous home, she was walked using a collar and lead, and she has never worn a harness. The team will be introducing her to a harness very soon.
- What am I like when I travel in a vehicle? Unknown at the moment - Under Assessment
- Do I have any fears? From our observations, Fae is nervous of sudden movements & loud noises at the moment
- What are my exercise requirements? Pending Assessment
Fae is currently undergoing assessment as the team gets to know her better.
So far, she appears to be a timid puppy who is quite confused at the moment. She has shown affection toward her handlers by jumping up on their legs for some attention, but she can still be cautious about movement. We believe she is a true sweetheart at heart, and we’re confident that this side of her will emerge once she learns to trust us! Stay tuned for more updates! 🙂
