About me

  • Can I live with other cats? Yes - Bumble and Bee have transitioned from a multi-cat household, so they could potentially thrive in a home with other feline companions.
  • Can I live with dogs? No - Bumble and Bee have not been exposed to living with dogs and given their nervous nature, it would be best to find them a home without canine companions to ensure their comfort and well-being.
  • Can I live with teenagers? Yes
  • Can I live with young children? No - Given that both cats are quite nervous and we don't have any information about their experience in a home with children, it would be ideal for them to be placed in a household without young children present.
  • Do I have any medical issues? Yes - Both cats are scheduled for dental treatment (scale and polish) on May 13th. We will provide an update on their status following this appointment.
  • Can I live as an indoor cat? Potentially - Both cats previously lived in a home where they had access to the outdoors. However, after spending six months in a cattery before coming into our care, their preferences may have evolved.

Bumble and Bee came into our care when their owner was placed in a care home, leaving them and their companion, Captain, in need of a new beginning. After spending over six months in a cattery, Bumble and Bee are now looking for a new home.

Unfortunately, Captain was separated from the duo due to his food greediness and is currently awaiting a loving family of his own. He is scheduled to be adopted in May! Meanwhile, Bumble and Bee are hopeful that the right human will come along to give them the love and security they deserve.

Bumble is the more reserved of the pair, taking her time to adjust to new surroundings. She can often be found sitting on the steps of their enclosure, cautiously retreating to her igloo area if approached. With a little patience, we believe she will flourish in a calm environment. On the other hand, Bee has made great strides in building trust with our animal welfare staff. After just a few weeks, she started to come out to greet us, meowing for food and attention.

Both Bumble and Bee are looking for a patient, cat-savvy adopter who can provide them with the time and space they need to come into their own.
