About me
- Can I live with other cats? No - Ember cannot be placed with other cats, as she has shown significant reactivity towards them in the mother and baby unit where she is currently staying. This behaviour may just stem from her protective instincts over her kittens, but we can't say for certain. We will continue to monitor her behaviour as the kittens grow, especially when she transitions to the cattery, where she will be sharing a unit with other cats.
- Can I live with dogs? No - Since Ember was a stray, we have no information on whether she has had any previous experiences with dogs.
- Can I live with teenagers? Yes
- Can I live with young children? Potentially - 11+ - Ember enjoys attention, but she has her boundaries, so children will need to be sensible and supervised around her.
- Do I have any medical issues? Potentially - Ember is scheduled for a health check on the 8th May. We will update her profile after the appointment. She is currently with her kittens, who were born on April 20th 2026. Since they are still nursing, she won’t be ready for rehoming until they are fully weaned, however, we are still accepting adoption applications in the meantime. Ember is not spayed or vaccinated at the moment.
- Can I live as an indoor cat? Potentially - We don't have any information on whether Ember has been an indoor cat in the past, as she was a stray. However, that could be a possibility, though we can’t say for certain.
- What was the reason for my surrender? Ember was handed in as a stray
Ember is an incredibly affectionate cat who loves to roll over for some attention and gentle scratches.
We’re currently getting to know her personality better. She will transition to the cattery once her kittens are fully weaned, and we’ll assess her behaviour in that new environment at that time.
