About me

  • Can I live with young children? Potentially
  • Do I have any medical issues? No - Mr Figgy has received a comprehensive health check at our vets. He experienced bladder sludge in December 2025. Information: Bladder sludge in guinea pigs is an accumulation of gritty particles in the urinary bladder that can lead to the formation of stones. This condition can cause irritation of the bladder wall, bloody urine, or even block the urethra, leading to serious complications. Figgy was successfully flushed out in regards to this condition, and he has been doing well since then. The vets recommend keeping him active and mobile to support his health. Figgy is a lively boy who enjoys exploring and running in new environments. Given Figgy's age, the vets have advised against neutering him, as the risks associated with anaesthesia are deemed too high.
  • What was the reason for my surrender? Figgy's family had separated, leaving him without a place to go

Mr. Figgy is desperately searching for his forever home. At the tender age of 4, this senior guinea pig is still full of life and has a curious spirit, darting around like a little hedgehog as he explores his surroundings.

With his long, wavy flowing fur, Figgy will need regular grooming to stay neat and comfortable. He’s a gentle and friendly boy who has been well socialised. Figgy can either live as a sole guinea pig or potentially be paired with a neutered female for companionship. Please refer to his medical section regarding neutering for more details.
