About me

  • Can I live with young children? Yes - Rhino and Bolt were handled by children in their previous home but always under adult supervision. Bolt displays a more confident demeanour, while Rhino tends to be a bit shy and may initially run away if approached for handling.
  • Do I have any medical issues? No - Both boys receive regular health check-ups, and we have not encountered any concerns! They are doing wonderfully!
  • Can we live with other guinea pigs? No - two males can fight over females & can never be bonded with other males. They must remain as a pair.

Rhino and Bolt are a pair of bonded teddy bear guinea pigs in search of a new home after their owner moved and could no longer keep them due to pet restrictions.

At the age of 4, these charming senior citizens still have plenty of energy and love to explore! Rhino is the more timid of the duo, while Bolt is known for his curious nature and will often come over to greet you. Although Bolt can nip if he’s had his fill of handling, it’s more of a gentle reminder that he’s ready for a break. Together, they bring a mischievous, cheeky personality to any household!
