About me
- Can I live with other dogs? Yes - Robyn has successfully interacted with two dogs during her time in our care, specifically a spaniel and a French bulldog, with no issues reported. Additionally, she has cohabited with 14 other dogs in her previous residence.
- Can I live with teenagers? Yes - Given Robyn's gentle disposition, we believe she would adapt well to a home with teenagers.
- Can I live with young children? Yes - Given Robyn's friendly disposition, we believe she may be well suited to living in a household with young children.
- Do I have any medical issues? Potentially - Robyn has been diagnosed with Entropion and is currently waiting for surgery to correct this condition, as well as for her spaying procedure. Robyn is currently on Tiacil and Optixcare eye drops.
- Can I live with cats? Yes - Prior to her arrival at the Sanctuary, Robyn spent a few days in a home with one other dog and two cats, where she exhibited no behavioral issues. Please be advised that if you have a cat in your household and are interested in adopting Robyn, we can only accept your application if your cat has previously cohabited with a dog without any problems.
- Am I good on the lead? Yes - Robyn exhibits outstanding behaviour on the lead, expertly matching your pace. She slows down when you do and accelerates when you increase your speed. Although she may initially show some hesitance in unfamiliar environments during walks, she responds positively to consistent reassurance from her handler, allowing her to trust and follow you confidently. Her ability to walk on a loose lead is truly commendable!
Robyn is our stunning and incredibly sweet Labrador, and she is in search of a loving foster or permanent home. While she currently faces some challenges with her eyes due to suspected Entropion, we are dedicated to raising funds for her urgent medical care. Before arriving at the Sanctuary, Robyn enjoyed a brief stay in a home with one other dog and two cats, where she got along wonderfully. She’s accustomed to a farm and bungalow setting and may not have encountered stairs before, as she didn’t attempt to navigate them in her previous temporary home.
Robyn is a loving and affectionate girl who craves companionship and reassurance. She will happily snuggle up to you and is a pleasure to be with. On tough days, Robyn’s warm cuddles can melt away any negativity, making her an ideal emotional support companion.
