About me
- Can I live with young children? No - We would not place Ronin in a home with children since he has not been exposed to them & tends to be very anxious.
- Do I have any medical issues? No - Ronin has a vet health check booked for today, 27th March. We will update his write up following the appointment. He is currently not neutered but we will be querying this with the vet.
- What was the reason for my surrender? Ronin's owner was unable to provide him and the other male guinea pig in the household with the time & care they needed.
Ronin arrived with another male guinea pig, Ranger. Prior to their arrival, they were housed together but were fighting, prompting their owner to separate them.
Now kept apart and available for adoption individually, both are seeking new homes!
Currently, Ronin is quite nervous and skittish. He dislikes being handled and tends to hide whenever we approach his enclosure. The team is actively working on his socialisation and helping him acclimate to his new environment 🙂

Can't adopt Ronin? You can still help!
Not everyone can offer a forever home – but you can still change Ronin’s life, and the lives of many more animals like them.
By donating to All Creatures Great and Small, you’re helping us provide food, shelter, veterinary care, and round-the-clock love to animals who’ve lost everything. Ronin’s story is just one of many – but with your support, none of them have to face it alone.
Your gift today helps us keep the kennel doors open, the blankets warm, and hope alive.
