About me
- Can I live with other dogs? Yes - Roo previously lived with a Labradoodle and consistently interacts well with four other dogs of various shapes and sizes while in our care.
- Can I live with teenagers? Yes
- Can I live with young children? No - Roo is not at ease around young children, which led to her coming into our care. In her previous home, she was uncomfortable in their presence, and her owner believed she would be better suited to an adult only household.
- Do I have any medical issues? Yes - Roo has undergone a full medical assessment from the vet, and her heart and lungs are in good condition. Her ears have been cleaned, and while her teeth are not perfect, they do not require dental treatment at this time. She has a luxating patella in her right rear leg, which currently does not require surgery. Additionally, Roo was already spayed before arriving with us.
- Can I live with cats? No - Roo has previously cohabited with a cat without any problems. Please be aware that we can only accept applications from homes where the dog has also lived with a cat successfully in the past.
- Am I good on the lead? Yes - Roo is a pleasure to lead walk.
Introducing Roo, our delightful Pomeranian!
This fluffy little sweetheart is a bundle of joy, always greeting everyone she meets with enthusiastic kisses and a wagging tail. Full of energy, Roo loves spending quality time with her humans. She is highly intelligent and eager to learn, currently picking up new tricks at the rescue with great enthusiasm.
Massively food motivated, Roo also enjoys playing fetch with her cuddly toys. She came to us seeking a fresh start after finding her previous home a bit overwhelming due to young children. Her family made the thoughtful decision to find her an adult-only environment where she can truly thrive. Interestingly, Roo’s previous owners informed us that she has never eaten out of a dog bowl. To adapt to the kennel environment, she is currently fed her breakfast and dinner on a licky mat, which serves as her eating surface.
Although Roo is almost 10, you would never guess it! She presents as a much younger dog and has a vibrant, bold personality. Anyone is sure to fall in love with Roo upon first meeting her.
