About me
- Can I live with other dogs? Potentially - Sid previously lived with two pugs and may be able to adjust to living with other dogs that are similar in size and temperament.
- Can I live with teenagers? Yes
- Can I live with young children? No - 11+- dog savvy. Sid has never lived with young children, so an adult only home or one with older children would be ideal for him.
- Do I have any medical issues? No - Sid has undergone a complete health check at the vet, and no concerns were found. He arrived neutered and vaccinated, with his next vaccinations due for the 3rd August 2027.
- Can I live with cats? No - Sid has a history of chasing cats
- Am I good on the lead? Potentially - Sid hasn't received much training for walking on a loose lead and tends to pull quite a bit. Fortunately, he isn't very heavy, and the team is actively working on improving his training in this area.
- What was the reason for my surrender? Sid’s owner was away from home for extended hours and faced health challenges, which ultimately led to the decision to find a better life for Sid.
- What am I like when I travel in a vehicle? Absolutely fine! (travelling in a secured crate in the back of a van)
- Do I have any fears? Fireworks
- What are my exercise requirements? Brachycephalic Breed - multiple, short periods of gentle exercise and enrichment, per day

Sid is an adorable Frenchie on the lookout for his forever home!
Sid enjoys a balanced lifestyle with medium level exercise, typically going for off lead walks twice a day. His previous owner told us about his excellent recall, so you can rest assured he’ll be a well behaved companion on those adventures! Our Dog Assessor/Trainer, Gary Mathlin, can advise more on safe off lead outtings 🙂
A true cuddle enthusiast, Sid loved snuggling up in bed in his previous home and was always ready for a cozy night in.
Having spent time in boarding kennels while his owner went on holiday, Sid is no stranger to kennel life and has adapted beautifully. He’s low maintenance and a pleasure to have around!
With a friendly demeanour, Sid is always eager to greet new friends with a wagging tail! He’s the perfect addition to any family looking for a loving companion. Could you be the one to give Sid the home he deserves? 😊
