- Can I live with other dogs? Potentially - Simba has encountered two male dogs during his time with us. Additionally, he has interacted with several dogs while on a lead at a local site-hound group walk.
- Can I live with teenagers? Yes - 13+
- Can I live with young children? No - Simba has not lived with children before, so it would be unjust to place him in a new home that includes them.
- Do I have any medical issues? Yes - Simba's teeth require some dental attention. He has an appointment for a dental procedure at the vet on the 4th August. We will provide an update to his profile following the visit.
- Can I live with cats? No - Simba enjoys chasing cats, which is typical for his breed, and he has never lived with a cat before.
- Am I good on the lead? Yes - Simba is a pleasure to walk on a lead. Because of some mobility issues, he does not pull and will stroll comfortably by your side at your pace.
Simba arrived with us after his previous owner encountered difficulties at home and was unable to provide him with the care he deserves.
This charming senior, estimated to be around 10-13 years old, has an uncertain exact birth date. While his owner believed he was 15, veterinarians suggest he may be slightly younger.
Simba is an affectionate companion who easily wins over everyone he meets. He adores cuddling and is incredibly sociable. Despite his age, he delights in long, leisurely walks and enjoys exploring his surroundings. It’s important to walk him regularly at his own pace, as a lack of exercise can lead to muscle stiffness and increased mobility issues. His favourite pastime is a spirited game of tug of war, as he has a great love for toys!
Simba is familiar with basic cues, including “speak,” and he won’t hesitate to let you know if he senses tasty treats nearby!
