About me
- Can I live with other cats? Potentially - Spytty arrived from a colony of feral cats found in the Newport area. With proper introductions, he might be capable of adjusting to life with a household cat in a home environment.
- Can I live with dogs? Potentially - Spytty is a very nervous, semi feral cat at the moment, but he may be able to adjust to living with a dog that is familiar with cats. Please note that we can only accept applications from homes where the dog has previously lived with a cat without any issues, occasional visits to homes with cats do not qualify.
- Can I live with teenagers? Yes
- Can I live with young children? No - 18+ - Since Spytty was likely born outdoors and has never lived in a home before, he is currently quite feisty. He would thrive best in an adult only environment.
- Do I have any medical issues? Potentially - Spytty is awaiting a vet check up, scheduled for the 11th May 2026. He is too young to be neutered at the moment. He is also not vaccinated at this time.
- Can I live as an indoor cat? Potentially - Spytty might take longer to adjust to life in a home. Although he is young, he may prefer the option to be an indoor cat while also wanting the chance to explore outdoors, it's difficult to determine his exact preferences at this time. At this moment, he is currently not litter trained but we are working on this.
- What was the reason for my surrender? Found as a stray within a colony of cats in the Newport area. He was caught by a member of the public.
Meet Spytty! This feisty little guy has a ton of personality!
He’s semi feral and isn’t shy about hissing and spitting at anyone who gets too close. At around 9 weeks old, he’s super tiny and doesn’t cause any harm!
We’re looking for a cat experienced home that can help him come out of his shell and adapt to a life beyond the streets.
It might take him a bit longer to warm up, but the payoff will be so worth it! He’s already started to venture out of his cabin to eat in front of us and explore. We’re sure he’ll soon learn to trust us and realise that we mean no harm.
He’s a funny little guy with loads of sass, and we all can’t help but love him!
