About me

  • Can I live with other cats? Potentially - Both cats originated from a home that housed three cats (total, including themselves) and a dog. Their former owner believes they may adjust well to a new environment with other pets.
  • Can I live with dogs? Potentially - Both cats have lived with a dog in the past
  • Can I live with teenagers? Yes
  • Can I live with young children? Yes - Both cats have grown up in a home with children present of the ages 0-13 years.
  • Do I have any medical issues? Potentially - Both cats have undergone a thorough health check by our vet. Currently, they are both overweight and require a diet, which we have already initiated at the rescue. They are scheduled for a follow up visit on May 26th for a booster vaccination and for the vet to re evaluate Sundae's heart for any potential murmurs. By that date, both cats will be fully vaccinated. Their next booster is due on the 26th May 2027. Additionally, we have documentation confirming that both cats were spayed prior to their arrival.
  • Can I live as an indoor cat? No - Both cats are used to using a cat flap & have always had access to the outside world
  • What was the reason for my surrender? The owner of the three cats was moving abroad and, unfortunately, could not take them along.

Sundae and S’Mores are two cats who arrived together, while a third cat (from the same household) is currently in a separate cabin due to space constraints (Nola).

All three cats could potentially be rehomed together if the right home situation arises, however, Sundae and S’Mores can also be adopted as a pair, as they share a close bond – Sundae is the mum of S’Mores (Sundae LEFT in their main profile photo)

Though it’s still early in their stay, Sundae has shown herself to be the more confident of the two. She is highly curious and has not hidden since her arrival, often venturing into the hallway and giving a hiss to other cats before retreating back to her cabin. In contrast, S’Mores is more timid, preferring to hide at the back of her cabin under the pillows, though she enjoys gentle head scratches and isn’t quite ready to fully venture out yet. Both cats enjoy a fuss & are very affectionate towards staff & volunteers!
