About me
- Can I live with other cats? Potentially - Since Toothless came to us as a stray, we don't have any information about his previous experiences with other cats. However, he appears unfazed by the other cats in the cattery and seems quite curious about them.
- Can I live with dogs? No - Since we lack information about Toothless's previous interactions with dogs, it would be advisable to place him in a home without any dogs.
- Can I live with teenagers? Potentially
- Can I live with young children? Potentially - Toothless may feel a bit nervous when adjusting to a new environment. As a result, young children should be supervised around him and given the opportunity to approach him at his own pace.
- Do I have any medical issues? Potentially - Toothless is scheduled for a health check very soon, Stay tuned out for updates! Toothless arrived with several old wounds on his neck, which seem to be remnants of past bites from other cats. He also has a significant indentation that looks like it was caused by a very tight collar in the past. The wounds are currently in the healing process, and there are no signs of infection. Despite his name, Toothless actually has teeth! He was named by a staff member who is a fan of the recently released film!
Toothless arrived at our sanctuary as a stray from the Ebbw Vale area. The individual who found him had noticed him wandering in their garden for several days. Despite efforts through social media and inquiries with neighbours, no one came forward to claim him. Now that his seven-day hold period has ended, he is available for rehoming under the care of the sanctuary.
Initially, Toothless spent his first five days with us hiding under blankets and beneath the stairs in his cabin, appearing shy and confused. However, on day six, he began to emerge and greet us. Throughout his stay, he has proven to be a sweet, curious boy! He seems to be quite young and full of energy.
Toothless doesn’t mind being picked up and loves attention, especially during meal times.
It’s important to mention that Toothless is quite adept at hiding. During the first few days in our care, the staff had difficulty locating him in his cabin, as he can make himself incredibly small to squeeze into the tiniest spaces! Potential adopters should be aware that during the settling-in period, he may choose to hide in some clever spots around the house.
