About me
- Can I live with other cats? No - Yoghurt has had some negative experiences with other cats in the past, which has made her a bit nervous around them. Because of this, she would thrive best in a home without any other cats.
- Can I live with dogs? No - Yoghurt has never lived with a dog
- Can I live with teenagers? No - 18+
- Can I live with young children? No - Yoghurt is a very nervous cat who has never lived with children before. Therefore she would suit an adult only home with cat experienced handlers
- Do I have any medical issues? Yes - Yoghurt has had a thorough vet check up & everything looks good! She does have a slight heart murmur but this is not a concern at this time & doesn't require any treatment. She was spayed prior to joining us & is currently not vaccinated. Adopters need to be aware that Yoghurt is not a huge fan of going into a carrier for a vet visit & therefore, should work on making the carrier & handling a positive experience for her.
- Can I live as an indoor cat? Potentially - We have been told that Yoghurt did have access to the outside in her previous home but that she was nervous of going outside. Therefore, she may suit to being an indoor cat
- What was the reason for my surrender? Yoghurt's previous owner had moved away leaving her at the property alone. She was taken in by a neighbour but he sadly fell in & went into hospital
Yoghurt is a very timid cat in search of a calm and quiet home. Despite being in our care for a few weeks, she prefers to keep to herself and hasn’t yet approached us.
She would thrive with a cat-savvy owner who can patiently support her as she gradually comes out of her shell. Given her nervous nature, Yoghurt would do best as the only pet in the household.
Our team is dedicated to working one on one with Yoghurt to help her feel comfortable and relaxed, though we recognise that this can be a challenge in a cattery environment. This sweet girl needs to find a home as soon as possible.
