About me
- Can I live with other cats? Potentially - Yuki was discovered as a stray, and her origins remain a mystery. The people who found her welcomed her into their home, where she initially got along well with their three cats. However, after she had her kittens, she became quite protective and a bit feisty towards the other cats. This behavior is likely due to the hormonal changes that occur after giving birth. Interestingly, Yuki doesn’t seem fazed by the other cats in the neighbouring cabins within the cattery, showing a calm demeanour despite her earlier protectiveness.
- Can I live with dogs? No - We have no information on Yuki in regards to whether she has ever been around dogs, therefore, the safest option would be to rehome her to a home without one.
- Can I live with teenagers? Yes
- Can I live with young children? Potentially - 11+ - Yuki has a gentle temperament which suggests she may be comfortable around older children
- Do I have any medical issues? Yes - Yuki has had a thorough vet check up & everything looks good! She does have a slight heart murmur but this is not a concern at this time & doesn't require any treatment. She has been spayed whilst in our care & we know that she had a litter of kittens at the end of 2025. Yuki is currently not vaccinated.
- What was the reason for my surrender? Yuki was brought into our care as an unclaimed stray
Yuki arrived in our care as an unclaimed stray, so we lack any background information on her. However, from our observations, she is an incredibly laid back girl.
She is also quite beautiful and has a lovely temperament. Initially, she was very nervous and often hid in her cabin, but now she waits on her shelf to greet us. Yuki is not a vocal cat, in fact we’ve never heard her make a sound! She is quiet and tends to keep to herself, showing no fussiness with food and simply going about her daily routine!
