Angharad Williams

Hi, My name is Angharad! (Haz for short)

I am the Site and Sanctuary Manager here at All Creatures. I started working here in July 2019 as an Animal Welfare Assistant. I have worked with animals ever since I was 19 and have had a strong passion for them since a very young age. My dream has always been to work for an Animal Rescue Charity and I feel very lucky to be where I am now. I started working around animals by attending work experience at my local Vets in Abergavenny at the age of 16, I then went on to Volunteer for the RSPCA 3 years later which then helped me to obtain a job as a Kennel Assistant at Usk Boarding Kennels. I then went on to become Supervisor and Head Dog Warden there before applying to work here All Creatures in 2019. I have also worked on a number of farms throughout my adult life.

I love all animals but my area of expertise is mainly including Dogs and Cats. I have a National Diploma in Animal Management, Veterinary Medicine, Farm-stock and Welfare.

I have a golden Labrador named Riley who is usually by my side on Site assisting with the socialisation of our Rescue Dogs.

Benjamin Merrick

Hi, my name is Ben!

I first started as a volunteer for ACGAS in the summer of 2013 and after 6 months of helping out I was taken on to do an apprenticeship where I gained my first qualification level 2 in small animal care. A year later on the 24th December I was employed as full time member of staff and have loved every day since and I wouldn’t change what I do for anything. During my time here I have learnt so much about the everyday care of the animals that we have here as well as gaining my Level 3 qualification in animal management. I also met and adopted my cat Milo from the sanctuary.

There isn’t an animal that we have at ACGAS that I do not enjoy spending my time with and am perfectly happy getting stuck into any job that needs doing, from cleaning the goose enclosure to socialising with the cats, dogs and small animals that are waiting for their new homes.

Katie Williams

Hi, my name is Katie!

I've worked at ACGAS as an Animal Welfare Assistant since December 2020, looking after all the animals at the sanctuary.
You will find me working in all areas of the sanctuary, however, my main passion is dogs.
I have completed a foundation degree in Animal Health and Welfare and would love to complete a dog behaviour and training course in the near future.
I have had family dogs since I can remember. I am now the proud owner of my very own dog Ruby and have been told I've trained my dog as if I were a professional trainer, which I find very complimentary.
Ruby assists me in fostering dogs that come into the Sanctuary before they are ready to go up for re-homing.

I thoroughly enjoy my position at ACGAS, my favourite part of this role is to help find the animals their perfect homes

Louise Kilby

Hi, my name is Louise!

I started working for ACGAS in February 2017.
You’ll often find me working up on our Farm Stock area, along side my Labrador Bella, with our resident pigs, sheep and goats but I am mostly with our Shetland ponies Bandit & Twiggy.

I have been around horses & ponies since a young age and have spent every opportunity at my local riding stables where I carried out an apprenticeship, before heading to Ascot to further my career. I have gained my British Horse Society Stages 1 & 2 Riding, Stable Management and Stage 3 in Riding and a Preliminary Teaching qualification.

I adore looking after all of the animals on our site and love working towards helping them find their forever homes.

I feel very lucky to be apart of the team!

Skaiste Kodyte

Hi, my name is Skye!

I started at ACGAS in 2019 as a volunteer after 9 months I become a member of Staff. Most of the time you will find me around the Small Animals taking photos of them for our social media and making delicious fruit salads for our chickens! I have always been passionate about animals and to be able to help them to find their forever homes means so much to me.

When I am not on Site taking care of the animals, I am working on my own business, as I am an illustrator.

I have my own Labrador called Bailey who helps socialise our Rescue Dogs!
